All police cruisers for retail sales are hand picked and the remaining wholesaled. About two out of five meet the requirements to be sold on our lot. Cruisers are resold to smaller Police Departments, Fire Departments, Security Companies, and the Private Sector for individuals with safety and dependability in-mind. All cruisers are sold with a certificate of inspection and temporary registration plate good for fourteen days.
East Coast Classics will also assist in making arrangements for shipping at the purchaser’s request Vehicles can be outfitted with Emergency Equipment such as lights, siren, etc. as long as they are being purchased by a municipality for Law Enforcement. Quotes for equipment are available on request. Equipment is purchased by Adamson Industries Corporation Haverhill, MA and TMDE Calibration Labs Richmond, Maine. Each company offers installation of equipment they sell although require deposits which are agreed upon by both parties.
When researching our inventory of specialty vehicles, you’ll notice cruisers with higher mileage. These quality used police and specialty vehicles are hand picked and the maintenance typically is every 3,000 miles and most came from areas with at least a minimum forty mile patrol area. The lower the mileage units usually means the cruiser came from a small patrol area and has considerable idling times.
